Housing Authority of Portland Invites Community to Planning Sessions for Hillsdale Terrace Redevelopment

PORTLAND, OR – September 14, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — The Housing Authority of Portland is holding four community meetings in preparation for submitting an application for federal HOPE VI funds to redevelop its Hillsdale Terrace public housing community in southwest Portland. The agency is forming a Community Advisory Committee to help guide planning for the application. Three of the public sessions start with a meeting of the CAC and are followed by design workshops. 

Meetings are on September 23, October 4 and 21, and November 4, starting at 5:45 p.m. The design workshops at the first three meetings will start at 6:30 p.m. The meetings will be held in the Fellowship Room at the Hillsdale Community Church, 6948 Capitol Highway.
